Students Helping Students Around The World
The GRO. 2026 girls were offered a fantastic opportunity on February 8, 2024, to be the presenters and advocates for the children of Malawi at the Sheboygan Rotary's International Small Plates Event. The new generation of GRO. raised over $30,000, creating four new boreholes (wells) and serving over 2,000 learners, educators, and villagers in Malawi, Africa. We would like to give a big thank you to Carol Grover and Deb Wente for hosting this fantastic event. We are incredibly grateful for this excellent opportunity and are excited to see what the future will hold for this group!
St Patty's Suprise!
On March 17th, 2024, the GRO girls had the amazing chance to meet up with Linda. She found out about GRO through one of our newspaper articles, and wanted to know more about GRO's mission. After some conversation and a brief presentation, Linda decided to donate a generous $15,000 to our group. We have chosen to purchase two more borehole wells located in Kapiri. These wells will serve over 2,300 children. We are endlessly appreciative for this donation and admire how much our group can connect with new people.
